I just refrigerated my glasses.
I had packed some food in a bag yesterday, ate half of it (the food, not the bag) and idly tossed my glasses in.
When I got back to my kitchen, into the fridge went the bag and all its assorted contents. It sat there overnight.
This morning, desperately seeking the eyewear before work, I realized my error. I found the glasses, fog-covered, as if I’d just entered an igloo.
Ah, yes — a warm summer’s day, chilled spectacles perched on my nose, such a delight.
Now if only I could see.
