EDITOR TABS
These are the available sections for the Editor WordPress account, in addition to the previously-mentioned PAGE EDITOR.

This page displays an overview of your account. Note that QuickPress and most items under Right Now may be unused if no blog is active.

Posts
This section is for creating blog posts, if active.

This is your list of pictures and other media items currently available for use on your website.
Add New: Click this link to upload a new picture from your computer.
All: This shows all media, including graphics, sound files, and any other items.
  Images: Photos and graphic files.
Unattached: Media items which are not currently used on the website. They can generally be deleted without affecting current webpages.
Bulk Actions: Check each item you want to modify, then choose one of the options from the dropdown list:
Delete Permanently: Select this option and click “Apply” to remove all selected pictures. Note that graphics should only be removed which are listed in the Unattached list.
Attach to a Post: Associates a media file with the current post, so you’ll know not to delete it.

Links
This section and those below it may be unused, if you have a separate page for links. Note that Posts, Comments, and QuickPress are only used when a blog is active.

Edit: Change settings for all chosen pages. This is not used often, though changing the status of multiple Web pages may be helpful. See PAGE EDITOR for more details.

Profile
This section displays the options pertaining to your user (“Editor”) account.

If you’re not a Webhead, do not check this box. This displays the raw Web page code in place of the standard editing window. Changing this code without knowledge of its workings can make Web pages not display properly.

These settings adjust how your profile appears publicly, if at all, such as in blog posts, depending on the website’s settings.

  New Password
Change your password by filling in these boxes. Note that a strong password (upper- and lower-case letters, symbols, and numbers) is critical.

  [Update Profile]
Save all changes.

Tools
“Press This” allows you to pull content from the Web in order to write a blog post from your browser.
