Humor-infused, jargon-free prose interspersed with design exercises, quizzes, illustrations, and dozens of examples make learning a snap-which is just what audiences have come to expect from this best-selling author.

My Review: Amazing book! As a Web designer, I actually found more use from this than the author’s work specifically meant for my profession (The Non-Designer’s Web Book). It provides a great grounding for a person with no formal graphic/layout experience from an aesthetic standpoint. The sections on typography were also surprisingly fascinating. This book has strengthened my graphic and page layout skills, and definitely opened up my eyes to the basic techniques used by experts in this field.
