Since this website is all about inspiration, I thought it’d be a good idea to tell you some of mine.
My overarching Inspiration in life — at least the one I aspire toward — is that of my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Without Him, life is meaningless. “What good will it be for a man if he gains the whole world, yet forfeits his soul?” God created everything that’s good and worthwhile, and my acknowledgement of that is due praise to Him.
As far as the Internet goes, though, the God doesn’t say much about building websites (though I’ve heard that Jesus programs computers). That’s why I’ve looked to a bunch of other wise guys and gals who know a thing or two about the Web and/or business. Here’s a non-comprehensive list of books I’ve found very helpful:
- The Non-Designer’s Design Book – Robin Williams
-
- The Big Red Fez: How to Make Any Web Site Better – Seth Godin
- Multiple Streams of Internet Income – Robert G. Allen
- Diary of a Small Business Owner – Anita Brattina
- The Sales Bible – Jeffrey Gitomer
You can see more titles on my Shelfari account, which I’ll be updating periodically. Happy researching!
